Recently organic foods came under fire when Stanford released a study claiming organic food is no more nutritious than conventionally grown food, personally, I never bought organic for what was in it, a carrot will always be a carrot no matter how it is grown, I buy organic for what is not in it, namely, pesticides and GMOs.
Proponents of organic foods were fast to defend other benefits of eating organic, and some claim that researcher Ingram Olkin, has been tied to scientific propaganda released by the tobacco industry going all the way back to the 1970’s, which does put his credibility in question. Organic farming is sustainable and good for the environment. Additionally, a study released this week shows the strongest evidence yet of Roundup and GMO toxicity, yet another reason to avoid conventionally grown foods and buy organic.

You worded it perfectly. I believe that Organic food is better for us because of what isn’t in it. I’ll continue buying it. Great post!
